Custom web design in New Jersey that brings in leads

Anyone can get a website from AI. We deliver the research, the SEO, the copywriting, the custom design and the launch kit that make people call.

A laptop and a phone showing a new small business website on a studio table, with a printed research report, a keyword plan, a marked up copy draft, color swatches, a print ad and social posts.

Anyone can get a website now. We build yours to make customers call.

You can type a prompt and get a homepage back. But good web design in New Jersey is no longer about getting a site online. It is about getting chosen.

A customer in Newark or Brooklyn searches, opens a few sites and calls one: the one that loads fast, explains itself and makes calling easy.

Below is every piece we deliver, why it matters, and how the work runs from the first call to launch day.

Our custom website design includes the ten pieces that bring in leads

Ask AI for a website and you get generated pages. Hire us and you get all ten pieces below, the ones that decide whether people find your site and call. Switch between the two to compare.

All 10 delivered

  • Analysis, keywords, SEO planYours to figure out

We analyze your site and competitors, then plan your SEO

First we analyze your current website and the competitors your customers find when they search. Then we run full keyword and SEO research, with real monthly numbers for each search and your customers' own words from reviews.

From that research we build your SEO plan: which searches to win, and which page wins each one.

Why it matters: a page built for a search nobody makes stays empty.

An AI website builder starts from your prompt. In most cases it does not analyze your current site or your competitors, or research what your customers search for.

We start there: analysis, keyword research and an SEO plan before any design.

  • One job per pageYours to figure out

We give every page one job and one search to win

Each page gets one job and one search to win, so two of your pages never compete for the same customer.

Why it matters: without a plan, sites grow into piles of pages nobody reads.

In most cases the builder hands you a standard set of pages, with no search behind each one and nothing to keep two pages from competing.

We plan every page from your SEO research: one job and one search each.

  • No templatesGenerated from a prompt

We design your site around your business, never a template

No templates and no page builders. We design around your customers, your offer and the way you win work, so your site does not look like the one next door.

One client put it as how we were able to "bring my vision to life" (Sam Rosenberg, Google review, 2022).

Why it matters: people judge a business by its site before they read a word.

The builder generates a layout from your prompt. One person who tried it described the result as "A site that could've been for literally any business, anywhere."

Ours is custom design, made around your customers and your offer.

  • Conversion copyWritten by AI from your prompt

We write every page in the words your customers use

We write every headline, button and paragraph in the words your customers use. Each page answers a buyer's questions in the order they ask them, and ends with one clear next step. You approve every word.

Website copywriting services are part of every site we build.

Why it matters: most visitors scan. Clear copy tells them at a glance they are in the right place.

The builder writes the copy from your prompt. It does not know your customers or why they choose you, so the checking and rewriting fall to you.

We write conversion copywriting for every page, and you approve it.

  • No page builderGenerated by the platform

We code your site by hand, with only what it needs

We write the code ourselves. There is no page builder underneath and no stack of plugins waiting for updates. Your site carries only what it needs.

You never have to touch that code. Tell us what to change, and our team makes the change.

Why it matters: less code means fewer things to break and less to slow a visitor down.

The platform generates the code. One owner found their site "loaded with so much code that it lags on speed checks".

We code every page by hand, with only what it needs.

  • Built for speedYours to figure out

We make your site fast on a phone

Many customers will meet you on a phone, often on a weak signal. We size every image, load only what each page needs, and check the speed on a phone before launch.

Why it matters: a slow page loses the visitor before they read your first line.

Speed depends on the platform. One practitioner wrote that an unchecked AI site would have been "slow, close to invisible in search".

We check the speed on a phone before launch and fix what is slow.

  • Built to WCAG 2.2 AAYours to figure out

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, so more people can use your site

We build and test to WCAG 2.2 level AA, the web's accessibility guidelines. Text has strong contrast, every image has a description, the whole site works with a keyboard, and headings follow a clear order for screen readers. No website can guarantee full accessibility for every person, but we do our best.

Why it matters: people with low vision, shaky hands or a screen reader are customers too. Our own site is built the same way; read our accessibility statement.

In most cases, accessibility is not checked for you. Contrast, keyboard use and image descriptions are yours to find and fix.

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA from the start.

  • No tracking without consentYours to figure out

We keep your site private: no tracking without consent

Your site sets no tracking cookies until a visitor agrees, and it has a clear privacy page that says what it collects and why. We build to privacy rules such as GDPR.

Why it matters: visitors trust a site that does not follow them around. Our own site sets no cookies, and our privacy policy says so.

In most cases, cookie consent and the privacy page are left for you to set up.

Your site sets no tracking cookies without consent, and has a clear privacy page.

  • Found on the mapYours to figure out

We set up your Google Business Profile, so you show on the map

We set up your Google Business Profile and match it to your site: the same name, phone number and services everywhere.

Why it matters: for a search like "web design new jersey", Google shows three map listings above the regular results.

In most cases, the builder does not set up your Google Business Profile. The map listing is a separate job you do yourself.

We set it up and match it to your site.

  • A launch kit made to match a website: a print ad proof, square social post cards, a long header banner and a phone showing one of the posts.
Print ads, posts, bannersYours to figure out

We make a launch kit, so people hear about your new site

Print ads, social posts with their images, and header banners for your social profiles, all made from the same custom design and copywriting as your site. Everything is ready on launch day, so customers hear about the new site from more than one place.

The kit is yours to print and post. Want help with your marketing? See our digital marketing services.

Why it matters: a new site nobody hears about is a quiet launch.

A website builder gives you the site. Print ads, social posts and header banners are not part of it.

We deliver a launch kit around your site, ready on launch day.

What goes wrong with AI-built sites, and what we do instead

What we do instead: hand-coded pages that carry only what they need, checked for speed on a phone.

“No matter how much you optimise or index, it will still be invisible on search”

We close the five gaps where visitors leave without calling

“As a small business owner, my website is how I get my leads and feed my family.”

A local business owner, in a Trustpilot review of an AI website builder, July 10, 2026 (opens in a new tab)

Every customer who leaves before calling is a sale you never hear about. Here is where they leave.

  1. Not found. They search and pick someone from the map or the first page.

  2. Too slow. Your page is still loading on their phone, so they tap back and try the next one.

  3. Unclear. At a glance, they cannot tell what you do or where you work.

  4. No reason to trust. No reviews, no real work to look at, nothing that looks like your business.

  5. Hard to act. The phone number is buried, or the button leads nowhere useful.

  6. Leave them open and you pay for ads that send more people to the same page. We close all five before launch.

See your research, your plan, your homepage and your price before we build

Our website design process starts with research on your website and your competitors. Everything after it builds on what we find.

  1. 1. We learn about your business in a free call of about 15 minutes

Tell us about your business, your customers and what you want your website to do.

You get: A meeting set up to show you everything

  2. Shown to you at the meeting

    1. 2. We analyze your current website and your competitors

We go through your current site page by page, then study the competitors your customers find when they search. No website yet? We start with the competitors.

You get: An analysis of your site and your competitors

    2. 3. We research your keywords and build your SEO plan

We find real monthly search numbers for what you sell and where, and your customers' own words from reviews. Then we plan which searches to win, and how.

You get: Your keyword research and SEO plan

    3. 4. We plan every page from that research

Every page gets its job and the search it should win, straight from the SEO plan. For a redesign, each old address is mapped to its new page.

You get: The full page plan

    4. 5. We design your homepage

We design your homepage as a working mockup you can click through, so you judge the real thing, not a sketch.

You get: Your homepage in its custom design

  3. 6. We show you everything, with one fixed quote

We walk you through the analysis, the SEO plan, the page plan and your homepage, with one fixed quote for the build. Ask anything.

You get: Everything above, and a fixed quote

A shop owner looks over a homepage design on a laptop at the counter, a printed page plan beside it.
  4. Decision point

You decide. Nothing is built until you say yes.

  5. 7. We design, write and code every page

We design the rest of the pages, write the copy and code the site by hand. You review each page, ask for changes and approve all the copy.

You get: Pages to review and approve

  6. 8. We check every page before launch

We check accessibility, speed on a phone, privacy, every link and every button. On a redesign, we check that each old address lands on its new page.

You get: A site checked page by page

  7. 9. Your site goes live, with your launch kit ready

Your site goes live on your domain, in your name, with your Google Business Profile set up and your launch kit ready.

The Advanced Behavioral Care Services home page on a laptop and a phone: the headline Real recovery, starting this week, call and intake buttons, and a photo of a sunlit reception room

Treatment center website

Advanced Behavioral Care Services

A website for an outpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment center in Toms River, New Jersey. Visitors call or start an intake inquiry from the first screen, read about the two programs, check Medicaid and insurance, and find the pages for the counties it serves.

Why it works: the center says three things stop treatment before it starts, “no ride, no coverage, and no answer when they call,” and the home page answers each one. On phones, the call button stays on screen the whole way down.

Local business website

Sar Hascarot

A one-page site for a 15-passenger van rental in Lakewood, New Jersey. It shows the van, how many vans a group needs, and how to book by phone.

Why it works: the business rents one thing, and the site says one thing: “We rent one thing: the 15-passenger van.” A short table tells a group how many vans it needs, and booking takes one call.

Small business website design for owners whose site has a job to do

We are an NJ small business web design company, building for New Jersey, New York and beyond. Here is who we are a good fit for, and who we are not.

A good fit

  • Service businesses that win work by phone: lawyers, accountants, contractors, mechanics and other service providers.

  • Owners whose site looks like everyone else's, or is slow on a phone.

  • Shops that sell online. We offer ecommerce website design services too.

  • Owners who want one team for the research, SEO, copywriting, custom design, code and launch.

  • Businesses whose customers need to sign in, book or order. That is a web app, and we build custom web and mobile apps too.

Web app or website? Read our guide.

Not a good fit

  • You want the cheapest site you can find. A builder will cost less, and we will tell you so.

  • You want it fast more than you want it right.

  • You want a template filled in with your logo.

  • You would rather build it yourself.

Not sure which side you are on? We are a website design company in NJ that would rather turn down a job than sell you the wrong one. Ask us on a free call.

What your website costs: one fixed quote for the whole build

The price depends on what your site has to do. Five things move it most; the table shows what makes each one smaller or bigger.

Answers to your questions about web design in New Jersey

Cost and value

How much does a custom website design cost?

It depends on what the site has to do. You get one fixed quote for the whole build at the meeting where we show you the research, the plan and your homepage, before anything is built.

What is the average cost for a website designer?

There is no useful average, because "a website" can mean one page or a full online store. Our guide on how much a website costs shows current industry figures and what moves them.

How much should I pay someone to design my website?

Pay for what the site has to do for your business. A quote that leaves out research, SEO, copywriting or a launch looks cheaper because it leaves that work to you.

How much does it cost to have a website redesigned?

It depends on how much is new, so you get a fixed quote after a free call. Our website redesign services in NJ, New York and beyond keep old links working by pointing each old page to its new one.

Is web design still worth it in 2026?

Yes, if people search for what you sell. Your website is the one place online you fully control. Profiles and directories help, but they belong to someone else.

Can I pay someone to design my website?

Yes. We do the whole job: the research, the SEO, the copywriting, the custom design, the code and the launch kit. You review and approve along the way.

Good websites and AI

Can AI actually create a website?

It can produce pages. What it does not know is your customers or why they choose you, so the research, the SEO, the copywriting and the checks are left to you.

Are AI website builders worth it?

Not for a business that needs the phone to ring. The builder hands you pages and leaves the rest to you; the reviews above show what owners say goes wrong.

Why not use a template or a site builder?

A template looks like everyone else who bought it, and a builder adds weight you must keep updating. A custom site is built only for what your business needs.

What are the 8 qualities of a good website?

These are the eight we build for: it gets found, it loads fast on a phone, it says what you do at a glance, it sounds like you, it shows proof, it works for everyone, it respects privacy, and it makes the next step easy.

What is the 3 second rule in website design?

It is the idea that visitors decide in about three seconds whether to stay. So the top of every page we build says what you do, who it is for and how to reach you.

How many pages should a good website have?

As many as it has jobs to do, and no more. Sar Hascarot does its job on one page; a business with six services needs a page for each, plus home, about, contact and the legal pages.

Working with us

How long does it take to build a website?

It depends on the pages and features, so we never promise a date before we know the job.

What is website copywriting?

It is writing the text on every page so it explains what you do and leads people to call. It is part of every site we build, and you approve every word.

Who owns my domain?

You do. Your domain stays in your name.

Can I make changes after launch?

Yes, and you never have to touch code. Tell us what to change, and our team makes the change.

What happens after the site goes live?

You keep the same team and the same number, (917) 720-3446. Your launch kit is ready to print and post.

Do you only work in New Jersey?

No. We build for New Jersey, New York City and anywhere else.
